1.) Michelle Obama-Um was this a list supposed to come up with the people who would sit down with Barbara Walters. I would substitute Barack Obama rather than Michelle Obama. I mean Michelle Obama is interesting but definitely not the number one most interesting person.

2.) Lady Gaga-I agree with her being on the list. Lady Gaga has an interesting look and an interesting year. The main test is whether Lady Gaga will not be a one-hit wonder or a future contestant on Dancing with the Stars (p.s. um horrible rumors involving the season 10 cast which could be the worst season ever and this is not including MC whitebread)

3.) Glenn Beck-I would put Glen Beck number 1.  Glenn Beck could be back in 2010 as I think he might have a huge presence in the 2010 elections. It is not wise to underestimate the right wing ever. There could be some surprises and Glenn Beck might play a part in those surprises.

4.) Tyler Perry-Um a man dresses up as a woman and is also involved in Precious. Why is not Captain Sullenberger on this list. Captain Sullenberger saved people. You know what I have to do this year. Yep dress up as a woman and suck up to Oprah Winfrey. O.K. who is next on this overrated list

5.) Kate Gosselin-Are you f@#$%^ kidding me. Susan Boyle is more interesting than Kate Gosselin. No one expected Susan Boyle to succeed with her looks and Boyle has more talent than Gosselin. Kate Gosselin needs to concentrate on raising her kids and not go into her “Don’t cry for me Argentina” crusade. By thr way, if Gosselin is on Dancing with The Stars, I am not watching. Tom Bergeron put Anna Kournikova on over Kate Gosselin. !@#$ I still have more to go.

6.) Adam Lambert – He deserves to be on this list.

7.) Sarah Palin – Deserves to be on this list. Sarah Palin could be a force to be reckoned with in 2010.

8.) Brett Favre – The most indecisive man in America. The biggest crybaby in America. Brett dragged the Packers down with his inability to decide. He has retired two times but then decided to change his mind. Brett has done an impressive job with the Vikings in 2009. However I am predicting that the Vikings will not go to the Super Bowl.  Favre’s skills have eroded over the years.

9.) Jenny Sanford – Huh. I do not know why she is on the list. I know the husband was an idiot and she stood by her man. I didn’t know that a woman who sticks with her philandering husband automatically gets on Barbara Walter’s list of fascinating people. Sandra Bullock had a bigger year than Jenny Sanford in terms of success. Sandra was the biggest box office star of 2009 and her husband didn’t go soliciting a woman in another country. Woo-hoo one more loser I mean person to go

10.) Michael Jackson’s three children – This choice really irritates me. The media trashed Michael Jackson for a long period of time. The shame is in what happened after Michael Jackson’s passing is the Jackson family exploiting Michael Jackson’s children. I am sure that Michael would want those kids to be sheltered and not exploited. Why wasn’t James Cameron’s name put on this list. Cameron made his first movie since Titanic and it was the most expensive movie ever.

Well I look forward to next year where Barbara Walters gets a list of ten people that are important to her and not relevant to the general public.

1.) Democrats and Republicans come together for a bill designed to curtail people like Richard Heene and the Salahis from gaining their fifteen minutes of fame. I am proposing a bill that would impose a $100,000 fine and five years in prison for any person or persons who commits fraud in trying to attain their fifteen minutes of fame.

2.) Journalists need to be more responsible to get a story right before putting it on the air or the web. I remember when I was in college that I had to use multiple sources to confirm my information or make my point. Journalists need to be held to the same standards that a college student has to be held to. You do not need to rush a story about a boy being in the air as a balloon when it is later learned that it was a hoax. It is sad when a fake news anchor has more credibility than all of the journalists on the major three networks news divisions.

3.) There needs to be more focus on the Iraq war and the men involved. It seems in my opinion that the only way you could gain a platform to talk about the Iraq war is to come back from Iraq, have coitus with a woman, and produce 10 kids. Reality stars should be sent to Iraq to see the true meaning of reality.

4.) Consideration of a salary cap in baseball. I know this is not likely but not every major league baseball free agent will succeed in New York or Boston. A franchise like the Milwaukee Brewers should be able to improve their team via free agency rather than trying to outspend the New York Yankees.

5.) The New York Yankees need to take ownership of being the biggest a@#$%! in sports. I would love Brian Cashman to say the following. “Our team will do our best to defend our World Series title. We may or may not increase a payroll for the (insert year and season here)” I would respect the Yankees more if they just told the truth. The Yankees were going into the 2010 season trying to decrease their payroll but took on contracts like Granderson and Vazquez that will boast their payroll over $200 million in the long run.

6.) Stop overhyping TV shows and movies as events. When are images taken from a camera qualify as an event. A wedding is an event. A funeral is an event. I don’t need what I am going to see to be overhyped. No TV show or movie ever leads up to its hype.

7.) Obama needs to follow thorough on his message of change. I would really like for Obama to stop spending his time on TV and devote his time to fixing all of the things that occurred during the previous administration. There will be several seats in play for the Democratic party. People regardless of political persuasion want their elected leaders to do something constructive and not speak in catch phrases. Your fifteen minutes are up Obama. You need to bring it or else a Republican will be president in 2013.

8.) Stop overhyping the H1N1 virus. There needs to be a more conscious interest in the American public to take care of the hygiene. The main thing that irritates me is how the vaccine was distributed. It was initally limited to pregnant woman and people under the age of 24. This basically meant that if were 25 and older, you were screwed if you got the H1N1 virus. People including myself need to take personal responsibility for making sure to avoid sickness.

9.) Tiger Woods setting a course record in the first tournament he plays in. Tiger Woods was the most dominant athlete from 2000-2009. Tiger Woods will still be a dominant force in the sports woods once he gets back to playing golf.

10.) There needs to be a national discussion between men and women about communicating each other’s needs. Men and women do rush into marriages for mutual convenience. In the long run, this is not always the best path for a successful marriage. Men need to address their concerns to their partners over what they need in this relationship. Women need to address their concerns to their partners over what they need in this relationship. Communication is not an easy thing for anybody. I try to work on my communication every day. I have good days and bad days. I wonder if Tiger Woods had communicated his concerns to his wife, things might have turned out differently for him.

I am guessing that by the first week of January most of these requests will not happen. Oh well there is always 2011. D’oh.
